Our easy-drinking pale ale is a lighter option, offering lots of flavour at a lower ABV. Following the tradition of a classic session beer, our pale is perfectly balanced with medium bitterness, fruity aromas and a delicate hint of sweetness from the malts and wheat. Citrus and gooseberry notes from the hops make this a light, refreshing ale ideal for drinking with food.

Half-pint on tap at the brewpub. Firm pearl white head, bright amber body, spotty lacing. Grainy fruits on the nose, scent of caramel sweetness. Nice taste character of herbal hops, ripe citrus and subdued malty sweetness beneath. Mid-dry, distant bitterness to the finish. Easy to drink. Quite alright. (Harrogate 07.07.2022).

Bottle from Keelham Farm Shop, Skipton. Pale amber with a small and rapidly vanishing white head. Looks oddly like whisky. Decent full mouthfeel, made me think very much of a cask beer. Mild flavour of gooseberries and caramel. Herbal bitterness on the finish. It's quite subtle, but pleasant. I enjoyed it.
