Big name. Bigger flavour.

This one pours soft and golden with that proper pillowy haze, then rolls in with waves of juicy citrus and sweet orange from a generous hit of Amarillo. There’s a touch of ripe stone fruit in there too, wrapped up in a smooth, creamy body thanks to all that oat and wheat goodness.

It’s 8.2%, but don’t let that scare you. The bitterness is kept nicely in check, so it drinks dangerously easy for something packing this much punch. Juicy. Full. Silky.

A DIPA that means business — without shouting about it. Crack one open and let the dreams begin.

Malt: Maris Otter, Wheat Malt, Oat Malt, Carapils
Dry Hop: Amarillo T90 & CGX

Note: 8.0% on the can.

Cans from Bottles & Books (2021) and Against The Grain (2026). Hazy golden body with an off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange, peach, straw and minerals. Flavour of orange zest, lemon, watermelon and pine. Medium to full body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. A delicious DIPA with a great body.

Can with Ogi at Ambasada. Hazy yellow-golden body, off-white head. Herbal and somewhat resinous aroma... hm. Oaty taste, watermelon gum, herbal touches, light onion, light resin, bit of bitterness, well hidden alcohol. Okay really, better than the other hoppy stuff we had from them this time at least.

150ml draught at Cafe Sånn. Hazy pale golden body, lacing rings from a film-type layer. Inviting smell of fruity wheat with a citric note. Hop fruity taste of lemon and orange, backbone of malted wheat. Soft fruity tail. Quite refreshing. (Tromsø, 25.03.2026).

440ml can - Pours a hazy egg yolk yellow colour with small white head that quickly disappeared. Aroma is pine resin, jammy oranges and sweet tropical fruit. A sweetish fruity taste, citrus and tropical fruit flavours, soft malts and a resinous, piny and citrusy bitter hop finish. Nice one.
