Bottle at the Brouwcafe, Scheveningen. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, light hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a big malt hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not such a bad beer from Gulpener.

On tap at the brouwcafe. Thick creamy white head. Cloudy light amber pour. Nice fresh bitterness.

On tap at Arendsnest. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet bready malts, hint of caramel, hay, green grassy hops. Flavour is medium-sweet, malty, bread, hops, caramel, toast, firm hoppy grassy bitter finish. Light-bodied. Nice.

On tap @ In De Wildeman. Golden yellow color, slightly hazy. Dense white head with ok lacing. Aroma’s: a bit dusty, fruity, the real aroma’s come out retronasal: sweet malts, flowery hops, some fruit, grain-ish. Flavor is moderate sweet, moderate bitter, fruity. Medium bodied. Finishes dry and moderate bitter. I really liked this.
