On tap @Buskers Pub (Rome). Ambrata torbida, schiuma bianco sporca leggera. Al naso sentori di malto, frutta matura, leggera nota tostata. In bocca è dolce all’attacco con leggero amaro, un po’ sbilanciata. Corpo medio, carbonazione soft. Insomma...

At La Tana in Brussels. Medium thick, greyish white, stable, cobweb-lacing head, hazy chestnut brown robe with bronze-ish tinge. Aroma of hazelnut, elderberry, leather, butterscotch, dry earth, pear, hint of iron and a subtle layer of peat. Fruity, estery onset, dried berries, pear, vague banana somewhere, caramelly and bit nutty malt core becoming somewhat toasted as is to be expected from a Scotch, fluffy and filling, bittering finish, quite clean with the smoky and peaty touch returning, earthy and peppery hop bitterishness and warming alcohol. Interesting and more than decent.
