330ml bottle in Dordogne. Left in the freezer overnight, so had to swig in the morning before we left. Misty orangey amber, small white head. Not in great condition, trying to imagine how it would be fresh. And can't. Rated kindly.

French American-inspired golden ale hopped with Mandarina Bavaria and Cascade, 75 cl bottle shared by Craftmember, cheers! Thick and creamy, egg-white, paper-lacing, foamy, eventually opening head, hazy straw blonde with light peachy tinge, bit ochre-ish and 'dirty' with sediment. Aroma of ripe banana, orange flesh, old wrinkled apples, soggy grey bread, dough, cold mashed potatoes with kale, peach, carrot soup, sweet tulips. Fruity, estery onset, apple-ish with banana and peach notes, sourish accent but otherwise primarily sweet, medium carb, fluffy and doughy body, wet bread pulp, spicy phenols in the finish competing with whatever subtle hop aromatics were there, even if sweet orange impressions are certainly there; ends still too phenolic (even a bit medicinal), yeasty and a bit 'dirty'. More Belgian than American in style, but quite elegant as a summer quencher, if rather simple and underhopped in spite of the modern hop varieties advertized on the label - both should have been much more generously applied in my opinion. To French standards, not at all a bad beer, though...
