Cold-hazed clear (old) golden beer with a shortlived snowwhite head, shards of lace. Sweet, utterly caramelly nose, sulphur. Strangely, faintly perfumed - reminds me of some aromatic plants as bog myrtle, fennel or courgette - but very faint indeed. Also slightly maltsweet. Watery MF. The flavours of the taste have gone in scant seconds, leaving watery... well, beer(ish) with a faint peppery hint. Another flop. Why call this an IPA, if it doesn’t come near?

500ml bottle from Sainsburys drunk at home. Clear gold bubbles rise to form a thin white head. Some Greene King yeast aroma, but some orange and lemon citrus aroma too. It’s a GK beer but it’s not all terrible. Well that’s the best GK beer I’ve had for some time. Some citrus and tropical fruits. Bit metallic in the mouth feel but it’s not horrible in any way. Finish is a bit farty. OK, but I’d not want to drink it again.

Sweet honeyed aroma. First taste slightly astringent for a golden, but then goes to a sweet finish. Honey predominant - not complex.
