Brewed in celebration of our new tasting room. ‘Flume Squared’ takes our regular Flume DIPA recipe to the next level. We started with a new blend of yeast and dry hopped this beer with Citra and Mosaic as we normally would. Then we finished it off with a heaping pile of Citra Cryo pellets. Expect a supple, pillowy mouthfeel dripping with flavors of papaya, tangerine, lychee and dank hop resin.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 30/06/22. Moderately hazed orange to light amber with an off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is bitter orange, grass, old skool vibes, pine needle, grapefruit. Taste comprises orange pith, pine needle, grass, grapefruit, papaya, hop spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive hop bitterness. Tidy enough DIPA but not on par with the base Flume.

Can (2/22/21) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's an opaque light brown-dark yellow with trace sparkle, finger-width fizzy white head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong bright citrus, apricot, pine over more subtle creamsicle and grainy backbone. Taste is strong pine, milder citrus and fruit and grainy malts. Mouthfeel is medium-to-full bodied with thick, chewy texture, slight citric/alcohol astringency, soft carbonation and crisp finish as taste with lingering dry bitterness. Overall, drinks like a meal. Pine and bitterness are a bit higher than typical for the style but still pretty good.
