Can from a little offie that specialises in tramp juice, Blackwater. Let 's face it, only purchased for a Malt Liqour tick. Saccharine sweet aroma, with a plastic edge to it. Dehydrated urine gold. Thin head disappears in seconds. Medium sweet with a bitter streak. Syrup and saccharine masking some medecine or other. Thin bodied. Light but a tad sticky. Low key fizzy carbonation. Abrupt, if warming, finish. Well... going back to my medecine reference, it's overly sweet to let the booze go down and warm you as you lie on newspapers in a shop doorway.

Canned. Clear pale golden, small head. Aroma of pear brandy. Sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Cider and peppery alcohol. Otherwise neutral / clean. Mostly harmless, except for the alcohol.

50 cl. can, shared. Clear, golden colour with a copper tint. Thin, white head. Sweet aroma with brewing mash, marzipan, cooked vegetables and a very unpleasent alcohol dense note. Taste is sweet. And bad. Medium body with a creamy to oily texture and an average carbonation. Finishes sweet with plastic, vegetables and an unpleasent burn from alcohol. A beer for the alcoholic on the bench. Everyone poured this one in the sink. My worst beer for 2014!

Hover Rate .... Yeah ! Rating a can on a Hovercraft - top that ya bastards ! On the IOW Jolly Day crossing the water on the way back, thanks to Scopey for this pick up. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering that quickly dissipates to a swirl and edgeing. Nose is bready, strong pale malts, sweet notes, straw, fruity suggestion. Taste comprises bready notes, sweet licks, pale malt, hint of orange, grain, cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings. Ok for style, best beer I’ve had on an inflatable ball bag that crosses the sea!

Can shared on the hovercraft from Isle of Wight to Portsmouth - big thanks to Paul for scoring this one. Pours clear, deep gold with a foamy, white head. The nose has lots of rich white bread and general dough. Medium sweet flavor with creamy, doughy pale malts, faint cereal, light bitter hay and only minimal alcohol presence. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with mostly sugary white bread and a bit more dough. Simple but incredibly drinkable for the ABV. This is a beer for the discerning tramp.
