Bottle, 10.5%. Peppery and vinous aroma with notes of prune and brown sugar. Dark brown colour, seems clear. Unstable head. The flavour is very sweet with some alcohol bitterness and brown sugar notes. Fairly sweet, but I like strong, sweet beers.

Bottle at home, darker amber beer, small head. Aroma is malt, caramel, sweet, fruit, spice. Taste is the same, sweet, malt, caramel, fruit, bitter. Quite nice

Sampled at Het Veem. Clear and quite see-through reddish color ik iron, no head. Smell and taste malts, lightly raisin notes mixed with something I can't quite put my finger on. Decent.

33cl bottle. A clear reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of strong dark malt, riped fruits, raisins, tobacco. Taste of strong dark red malt, raisins, plums, overriped fruits, caramel, slightly boozy finish.

33cl bottle. Poured brown/mahogany color. Almost no head. Candi sugar, sweetness, spices. Some dark fruits. Hides abv. Not very strong flavorwise though. Not very interesting.

Bottle. Color: Dark copper, small beige head. Aroma: Sugary, caramel, dark fruit, red fruit. Taste: Dark fruit, hints of red fruit and raisins, caramel, sugar, candy-sugar. Boozy. Medium sweet, moderate bitter. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Prety fruity for a Quad. Quite nice.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een stevig schuim. De geur en smaak zijn zoet, rozijnen achtig en kruidig. De nasmaak is alcohol achtig.
