Bottle from the brewery's bottle shop - many thanks, Anke! Pours hazy black with a big, slowly thinning, frothy, beige head. Aroma of fondant, chestnut, clove, cold coffee, earth, wet forest floor. Taste is a soft malty profile of sweet chocolate, nuts, bitter coffee, earth & subtle spices with a sourish, dark fruit-like undertone. Dry, toasty, earthy hoppy finish, more coffee & brown bread. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Nice winter Ale with little accents.

Bottle. Color: Almost black, light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee, hop. Taste: Dark malt, fruity, nice amount of floral hop. Hints of blueberries. Medium body, below average carbonation. Ok.
