Strange Seas is the latest in our series of Big Birthday Mash-Ups and features a harmonious hook up of ingredients, styles, and flavours. We have collaborated with London based brewer, Beavertown Brewery to create our second collab beer inspired by Ghost Ship. As an innovator of its time, Ghost Ship’s citra hops sparked the taste buds of the beer market in 2010 and for this Beavertown brew, a decade later we are using the same idea and developing a recipe based on the experimental hops of today. A tropical triumph, Strange Seas will haunt the taste buds of all fortunate enough to lock lips with this hazy, pale beauty.

23/1/2021. Can shared at the first Ipswich Lockdown 3.0 virtual bottle share. From Adnams Shop, Woodbridge. Pours very pale gold with a small white head. Aroma is sweet pineapple, grapefruit, bitter lemon, flowers, hint of spice and soap. Quite sweet, light bitterness. Quite weak. Not a fan.

330ml can. Pale slightly hazy yellow, small white head, good retention. Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, grass. Taste is slightly watery but pleasant, grass, grapefruit, citrus, some herbs in a moderate bitter finish. Light to moderate body and carbonation. Decent low ABV beer.
