Bottled (from Alko). Pitch black colour, small off-white head, some lace. Aroma is tar, vanilla, roast and some liquorice with chocolate and mild wood to it. Flavour is roasted, some alcohol, liquorice, chocolate and mild vanilla tones with some slight nutty elements.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 19.09.2023) im 2020-02 getrunken. Bei diesem Stout stehen gleich deutliche und sehr stimmige Bourbon Whiskey Aromen über den Stoutaromen von dunkler Schokolade. Der Alkoholgehalt ist sehr gut eingebunden, so daß dieses Bier nie aufdringlich wirkt. Im Abgang hat es allerdings seine Schwächen, denn die Aromen verschwinden recht schnell und wirklich komplex wirkt es auch nicht. Daher bleibt es ein leckeres IStout der Oberklasse.

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, hard roasted malt, chocolate, wood and bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily. 110719

33 cl bottle @ home. Batch #289, BBE 18.09.2023. Aroma has strong dark chocolate tones, cocoa, licorice and alcohol. Slightly too fizzy palate. Flavour has bourbon, woody notes, licorice and non-disturbing alcohol. A good slow-sippin' bourbon-IS.

Nice light brown slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, dark sugar, mild bourbon, vanilla, dark malts, chocolate, caramel, old rope, bark, hints of dried dark fruits. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish boozy, oak, mild bourbon, bark, licorice, dark malts, dark sugar, dusty vanilla, minerals, old rope, grass, fruit stones, hints of toast, butterscotch and dried dark fruits. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Nice enough.

[ As Sori Dark Humor Club Heaven Hill Bourbon BA ].Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, chocolate, alcohol - bourbon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, bourbon, chocolate. Smell of oak, vanilla, roasted malt, tar. Cola colour, brown head. Aroma of salmiakki, vanilla, oak, bourbon. Very bitter. Lively carbon, heavy body. Super rich flavours.
