Foeder-aged American wild ale with cucumber
Flavorful, effervescent, crisp, cool— we can’t come up with enough adjectives to talk about this beer. Frucht: Cucumber gains complexity and funk from time spent in our 250 bbl oak foeders. Our Bruers added fresh cucumbers to add coolness, which balances the natural tartness. We proudly never kettle sour so you can better enjoy all the funky, wild character native to the style.

Sampled from the tap at Red Cow North Loop. Pours a hazy earthy yellow with a slight peach hue and a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has tart lemon and a bit of cucumber with a touch of light wheat underlying. Flavor combines cucumber and tart and acidic lemon with some light wheat backing.

16 oz. Aroma is cucumber, lacto, lemon. Pours hazy orange with a immediately collapsing white head; looks completely flat in ten seconds. Taste is mouth-puckering, face-melting sour (11/10) and acidic with cucumber and lacto flavors. Tasty and interesting.

16 oz. can, pours an opaque dull orange with a quickly-dissipating head. Nose brings out bright cucumber skins, lots of oak, lacto, and acidity. Flavour is very acidic, with tons of sour cucumber, lots of lacto, some oak, and intense acidity. This is bordering on too acidic, though the cucumber is done nicely. Becomes prohibitively acidic with each sip.
