Can at home. A bit cloudy pale yellow golden color, average sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, wheat, slightly yeasty, somewhat hoppy, a bit dusty fruity hoppy. Decent body and carbonation. Okay.

330ml at van Kinsbergen, Den Haag. Poured a hazy golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light tropical citrus. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a smooth, somewhat rich, melon, light herbal, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Double IPA in New England idiom by this Amsterdam brewery; can at De Koffer in Groningen. Egg-white, moussy, largely stable and frothy head on a misty yellow blonde beer with pale apricot tinge. Aroma of lime zest, ripe apricot, some stale armpit sweat dankness, dry biscuit, green mango, red onion, unripe pear, toasted garlic, volatile hint of tomato soup. Cleanly juicy onset, hints of pepino, guava and apricot but not overly fruity, sweetish with sharp and minerally effervescence; full, somewhat creamy mouthfeel, sweetish dry biscuit- and cracker-like malts under growing tropical hoppiness – mango again, some granadilla, orange zest and toasted onion but nothing becoming too dominant. Orange pith-like bitterness ensues along with grassy notes and a light calvados-like alcohol warmth, with citrusiness remaining the main factor. Very solid, tasty IPA of high drinkability, combining old school bitterness with sufficient, yet not too overwhelming New England sultriness and fruitiness. One of the better Walhalla creations I had to date.

On tap at Walhalla, pours a folksy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out herbal hops, light vegetal notes and stone fruit pith. Flavour is pithy, with stone fruit pith, somewhat muddled fruity hops, and some dankness. Not the most invigorating hop expression but it's nicely fruity at least. Pleasant.

(Draught at Walhalla Brewery & Proeflokaal, Amsterdam, 27 Aug 2022) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with frothy white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, tropical fruit and peaches. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, passion-fruit, peaches, soft malt and a balanced citric/tropical bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Rich, fresh and tasty DIPA. Very nice.

33cl can, BB 01/02/2023, canned 05/04/2022, ramenée d’Amsterdam, merci Maria.

33cl can from Hoptimaal. Canned 01/03/22. Poured slightly hazy orange in color. Aroma has mostly oranges, some caramel. Flavor has sweetness and bitterness, canned fruits. Fatigue showing but still ok drinkability.

Tap at Walhalla brewery tap with Mattijs, 19th May 2022. Pours light yellow, opaque. Aroma is pineapple and juice. Taste is a little muted, not so much going on, alright.
