Back in 2018, in celebration of the 10th birthday of the Ilkley Beer Festival, we teamed up with our neighbours at Wharfedale Brewery to brew a special beer. XPA was born, a pale, hoppy session ale that combined the classic characteristics of Wharfedale brews, with the hop-forward clean freshness of Ilkley. It went down so well, we brewed it again for the 2019 festival and for a few local pubs, and now, together we have decided to make it a regular thing – featuring as a permanent fixture at the Wharfedale pub, the Flying Duck, and available throughout the year.
