Canned 17.09.20. Black, small creamy brown head. Smell is rich bourbon, some sweetness, hint of the armagnac and calvados. Tiny bit thin, boozy, warming. Taste is rich, plenty of all barrels. Good bitterness in the middle, surrounded by soft sweetness.

Can sample a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks zvikar. Opaque pitch black, brown foam. Big chocolate, fudge, vanilla, bourbon, a bit of dark fruits, vinous, caramel, sweet, some toffee, a bit of bitterness, full-bodied, some alcohol. Really good.

Can big thanks to the dirty son of a gun. It pours black with a decent dissipating tan head. The aroma is rich and unctuous, intense, bitter - sweet oily, sticky, dark roasted malt, cacao, dark chocolate, vanilla, coconut, warming spice, spice, coffee grounds, damp oak, toffee crisp, toffee, fudge and bourbon. The taste is dry, bitter, rich roasted malt, bitter -sweet, toothy, sticky, plenty of booze soaked oak, warming spice, warming character, savoury vibes, bourbon, cakey malts, chocolate gateaux, charred coconut, coconut water, burnt toast, earth, bourbon biscuits, some dried apple, fruit cake in the backdrop and warming booze through the finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Never too sweet, which is a nice surprise. A bit charred and spicy in parts, but a nice package as a whole.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 12/12/20. Pitch black with a big ole tan that dissipates but stays for the show ... a good looking bier fo sho ! Nose is rich roast, dark chocolate, coffee, bourbon, light spice, toffee fudge, muscavado sugars. Taste comprises roast malts, spice, chocolate, dark malts, toffee, dried fruits, bourbon, oak, good complex barrel tones. Full bodied, soft massaging carbonation leading to an oily feel, balanced warming boost caked in barrel notes. Top top draw BA impy stout once more ... as per the BA Blend I, world class stuff this ... folks dishing out 3's on this FFS !?!?

Can sample from Erik. Thick, black, viscous with beige head. Loads of bourbon, vanilla. A bit of fruitiness. Slightly nutty. Roasted coffee finish. Pretty good stuff!

Canned, 330 ml shared with Miro B, Max and Simon. Black with small beige. Chocolate, barrel, whiskey, thick, sweetish, lasting bitter finish. Smooth. Full bodied. Oily as fuck.
