Pours dark brown, but pitch black in the glass. Bourbon on the nose. Medium body, oily, sweet and a bit boozy. Bourbon, dark chocolate, smooth. Kahlua comes to mind. Shame the other barrels don't much come through, but it's nice and balanced as is. Yum.

Can shared. Almost black with small tan head. Massive sweet dark chocolate, booze, brown sugar, soft chilies, bourbon, maple, brandy, vanilla, roasted malts, calvados indeed. Quite sweet, medium bitter. Full bodied, slightly hot finish.

0.33 l can from 'Drinks & Gifts', canned in September 2020. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, stable, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of praline, coffee, hazelnut, vanilla and hints of bourbon. Rather sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of praline, hard roasted coffee, licorice, some bourbon and hints of hazelnut, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, gently peppery and a little boozy finish. Full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Heavy and intense beer, nicely thick and almost syrupy, only the barrels could be a little more prominent. Very good though!

Black with a thick beige head. Aroma of rich chocolate brownies, dark fudge, bourbon, oak, boozy notes, cocoa, vanilla, Armagnac notes coming out behind. Damn this is intense but beautiful. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with a fairly thick texture and soft carbonation. Lovely!

Taster at home courtesy of Sander, big thanks. black color, small coffee colored head. smells vanilla, bourbon, raisins, light oxidation, bitter chocolate. very nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes of bourbon, sweetness, vanilla, cocoa, light soy sauce, some oxidation, nutty, light bitter chocolate. finishes rather sweet with notes of vanilla, cocoa and some nutty notes. nice one, rather sweet. I liked Blend I a tad more, it was more expressive and less sweet. overall very good beer though.

33 cl. can @ home, bought @ Rovin, Dongen. Pours pitch black with a thin beige head. Bourbon and calvados aroma with roasted malt flavours of coffee and chocolate. Sweet taste with a bitter roasted finish augmented with oak, vanilla and sweet coffee. Silky mouthfeel like hot chocolatemilk with some warming alcohol. Fantastic beer.
