Former name: "Pils". Had to be renamed after local authority critizised that the beer has too little IBU to be a Pils.

On tap at a Cafe, clear gold, two fingers of white head. Nose has honey, dough and flowers. Flavors follow with grist, dough, honey. Finishes dry. This is good. A gem of a find.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing. A slightly hazy golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild sourish pale malt, straw, grains. Taste of mild sourish malt, apples, grainy malt, low bitterness.

Many thanks to WillemsUrenkel for this bottle. Dry yeasty and slightly sour. Fruity, dry grainy. Easy to drink, grainy with not too much bitterness. Round and nice but slightly sour - seems to have hygienically problems.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Mild lemon aroma. Starts mild, malty, light lemon notes. Fresh hoppy background. Finish well balanced. Quite drinkable. Nice!

Bottle @ home. Hazy orange color, bubbly (Dutch) "beetje schraal", white head. Smell and taste malts, a bit grainy bitter, a weird sort of fruity hint of which I have no idea where that comes from. Average body, quite low carbonation. Don't like it.

0,33 l bottle from an Edeka, Lüneburg. Dark golden unclear with an huge nearly three finger head in the glass. Smells musty grassy. Taste is strange, some grainy sourness, yeasty, soft hop, dry metallic bitterness. Relative high carbonated. Sorry, can not convince. --- Beer merged from original tick of Helles on 15 May 2021 at 20:47 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: 0,33 l bottle from Edeka Center Saline, Lüneburg. Cloudy golden in the glass with a more than one finger white foamy head. Grainy grassy malt smell. Taste starts malty, grain and straw, some present hop bitterness. Not bad.

Draught at BBF13. Very cloudy yellow colour. Stable white head. Has a good citric/sourish hop profile. Medium bitterness. Refreshing.

Draught @ BBF13. Pours cloudy straw with small white head. Very faint aroma of yeast and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with a touch of cardboard. Mild finish. Much more like a mediocre Zwickel than a Pilsener. Boring.
