330ml bottle. Minimally milky, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, slightly citrusy, hoppy and slightly lactic, minimally funky aroma, notes of unripe fruit, quince, yellow apple, a touch of mild sauerkraut, orange peel, kumquat, mandarine. Taste is tart-ish, slightly lactic, minimally funky, fruity, minimally bitter hoppy, pale malty basis with very little residual sweetness, hints of unripe fruit, quince, yellow apple, a touch of sauerkraut, a touch of orange peel as well, some tangerine and kumquat. Oily-watery texture, slightly dry, minimally astringent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Not bad for a first take at this style, but not pre-eminent either.

Thx to Zinni for this bottle. Cloudy amber color and a nice white head. Interesting combination. Sour-fruity with a hoppy twist. Rather short, juicy-hoppy finish.

Fruchtig-säuerlicher Antrunk. Hohe Süffigkeit, Hopfen vermisse ich hier fast vollständig - er wird nur durch die starke Fruchtigkeit sichtbar, untypisch. Intensiv fruchtig bleibend, die abnehmende Säure unterstützt das Aroma. Vollmundig, sehr süffig, langer Abgang. Vielleicht etwas monoton. 8/10/11/10/12/10

0.33 l bottle from 'Flaschenfreund', best before May 2021. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, sourish, quite fruity and a little funky aroma of lemon, pineapple, quince, light rhubarb and a touch of funk. Slightly sour, rather fruity and a bit funky taste of lemon, rhubarb, pineapple, some quince and light funk, followed by a short, slightly tart, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very refreshing, rather sour than hoppy, not really IPA-ish but a nicely fruity Sour Ale.

Fläschla: Deep golden, hazy, small white foamy layer, the nose is a blend of exotic-fruity hops and a malty and sourish-fruity background; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, medium bodied, a bit fizzy; lingering sourish fruity finish with late noble hops in the aftertaste. Good, but I guess one is enough...
