True to the lager tradition, Name Tag Lager is light-bodied and full-flavored. Unlike some other inexpensive lagers, Name Tag, brewed for us in Wisconsin, is an all-malt beer, with no rice, no corn – no fillers of any kind.
We were so impressed by the value of this beer (value = quality + price) that we put our name on it. Well, we put our name tag on it, anyway. Keep a six-pack of Name Tag in the fridge for those hotter-than-Hades days, when the only thing that will bring refreshment is an icy cold beer with your name on it.

12oz can from a Trader Joe’s, ’Name Tag’ Lager by name, part of a six pack that my son in law bought. OK, let’s get on with the rate: golden, clear and clean looking, with a white head that disappeared before it arrived. Corn syrup in the nose and taste, some mild hop bitterness in the finish but overall a cheap beer and you could tell.

From a can that says name tag so I guess its pale yellow. First taste is a little coarse for a typical American lager. Good carbonation, has a tad of that minhy flavor to it. Seems to mellow just a tiny bit during the session. Ubiquitous, cool, cheap, decent generic pale American beer, what else can be said! $3 for a sixer at trader joes, heheh.

Bought as "Name Tag" from Trader Joe’s. Pours clear pale golden, with thin white head. Sweet malt, and corn on the aroma, taste is pure sweet grains, with a fading sweet finish. Finishes fast. Somewhat watery mouth feel. A pale lager through and through, but refreshing on these hot summer days.

Can under the "Name Tag Lager" label. Deep golden-orange color with a medium white head that burns away gradually. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of corn (despite the description), malt and slight hops. Light-bodied with flavors of grainy malt and mild grassy hops. The finish is slightly fruity with a lightly bitter hops aftertaste. Below average overall.

Clear Yellow, Foamy Head, Some Lacing. Sweet Watery Fizz. Doesn’t really feel like a beer. More like watery and bland cider. Reminds me of malt liqueur that was watered down. Recommended... That is recommended to stay away. Pass it.

can from Trader Joes, marked down to 25 cents! Pours light gold with a thin white head, doesn’t last long, no lacing. Aroma is thin and full of adjunct cereal malt notes. Flavor is light and pretty refreshing, thin grainy cracker notes with a thin finish. Not bad at this price!

No aroma. Clear yellow, no head. Weak, almost flavorless. Actually worse than BMC. Pointless.

Can from Trader Joes. Eh, really not much to say here. Typical pale lager - nothing really worth noting in aroma or flavor. Not offensive, not special. Eh.
