Swing top bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel, a hint of licorice and pear drups in the aroma. Thin. Alcholic. Roasty ashy flavor with licorice and caramel. Some grassy notes. Laurel. Roasty ashy finish. Lacks balance.

On tap at PINT BBF ’14. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, liquorice, laurel, grain husks, caramel. Flavour is medium sweet, liquorice, laurel, roasted malts, light grainy, cocoa, firm bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Nice.

Draught at the Haagse Bluf, Rotterdam
Dark brown color, small creamy head. Roasted malt and caramel flavor, a bit dusty. The mouthfeel is leaner than expected, still the alcohol can be perceived; caramel flavor with some roasted malt, common bitterness. Easy.
