The yearly wait is over, the one seasonal I'm truly excited about. I'm digging it this year too, so that's good, always worried about a let down. Dark reddish brown, modest head. Nose has light toasted malt, even lighter indistinct herbal hop notes. Flavor leans more caramel, balanced with a semi-spicy hop flavoring, I really like that. Soft body, very clean fermentation profile. Lean finish is medium bitter. Overall medium bodied, semi-sweet. Can from Sprouts in Oviedo, FL

12 oz can purchased at the Trader Joe’s in Leawood, Kansas. 071621 stamped on the bottom of the can. The pour is clear copper, caramel brown with a ½ inch light tan head that falls with splotchy lace. The aroma is toasted grain, caramel malt, soft hay and a hint of apple sweet. The taste is the caramel malt, soft fruit sweet and finishing with clean fresh toasted grain. The palate is medium to light bodied, nice carbonation and a clean toasted grain finish. Nice Oktoberfest.

From a 12oz can clear deep orange amber. Standard toasted light malts. A little woody sweetness and a smooth finish.

Wegmans can. Honey-amber with a large, soft beige head. Browning grasses and leaves, caramel malt, sourdough nose... very autumn and inviting. Flavor is caramel malt, brown leaf, sourdough bread/crust, light sweet notes - almost a bubblegum (but not quite). Tasty.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark amber with a slight, transient beige head. Aroma of slightly chocolatey, mildly roasty malt with some earthy/grassy aspects. Med body. Flavor more or less matches the aroma. Not really dry; moderately bitter. Good for the style IMHO.

Amber coloured with thin head. Toast and malt aroma. Big malt forward taste with some fruitiness in the finish. Hops keep it from being too sweet.
