Amber coloured with thin head. Toast and malt aroma. Big malt forward taste with some fruitiness in the finish. Hops keep it from being too sweet.

12 ounce bottle. Amber orange pour is topped by a large frothy beige head. Spotty lacing. Spicy nose hints at dried fruits and toffee malt. Soft pleasant mouthfeel leads to more toasted malt, light caramel and herbal hop notes. Peppery hop finish is long and tasty.

Shaker pint draft at Barley’s Brewhaus in Overland Park, Kansas. The pour is a clear darker golden with a ½ inch creamy white head that leaves nice lace. The aroma is fresh toasted malt grain, along with some grass and hay. The taste is malt forward, clean and crisp with the hay and toastiness to the back. The palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation and the crisp finish. Nice simple clean Fest bier.

Bottle from a local grocery. Pours light bright copper with a foamy near-white head. Toasty malt aroma. Floral. Med body. It's fairly dry, floral, but the main flavor seems the slightly toasty malt. Lightly bitter.

Bottled September 4th 2020.

Pours a clear gold with an inch of foam after things settle down.

Smell is of citrus, bread and toasted malt, fruity.

Toasted and bready malt dominate the taste. Light citrus and fruit are mere byproducts in the taste for me.

Medium bodied.

Decent but not something that I would repurchase.

Pours clear gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Toasted hay aromas. Crisp with sweet caramel and fresh bread front to back. Lasting earthy hop finish.

12 oz from a six pack. Aroma is grainy, light caramel. Pours mostly clear deep golden with a one finger bone-white head with good retention. Taste has a moderate caramel malt sweetness with a light herbal hop bitter edge and touch of savory. A really great example of the style, no surprise there.

Solid festbier, grainy and semisweet with mild notes of toasted bread and hints of caramel. Grassy bitterness and a floral vein keep it lighter and crisper than its märzen cousins. Nice pint.
