09/04 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured dark brown body with smaller brownish head. A bit of carrot and caramel in aroma. Flavor is light, some caramel&carrot again, nothing bad but unimpressive. Finish shows some hints of metallicity added to already mentioned flavors. Although strange and different, it’s too watery and simple to be interesting.

Bottled(500ml). -Dark brown coloured, medium sized off-white head, vinous malty nose. Sweet malty, weak hoppy and molasses taste with notes of carrot and spices. Oily. Funny name but also below average beer.

Bottle courtesy of ogivlado who brought it from Wien and shared it with heavy and me (thanks!). Poured an extremely dark brown body with a big, very thick off white head. Dry malti nose, popcorn. Extremely simple taste, carrot juice all the way with a touch of vitamins. Not offensive but blah.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a golden red glare and a creamy tan head. Mild roasted malt aroma - slight towards breadish. Flavour is breadish, mild roasted and with a dry raising like flavour. Medium dry. Mild bitterness and light spiced into the finish. A bit flat in flavour.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, very dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma of hard roasted malt. Medium-bodied with sweetish, roasted malt and some odd, lightly tart notes of Vitamin-C or something like that - fruitish. A lightly burned edge. Very subdued bitterness. 070706

Bottle. Nice, malty aroma. Fresh-ground coffee. Very dark brown colour, soy-like. No head. Nice flavour, a lot like the aroma, malty and coffeeish.

(bottle) Deep dark body with a small and brown creamy layer. Intense nose of roasted malts, toffee and a mineral element. Soft sweet aromatic taste of malts and mocha with a lasting coffee, liquorice and a bit salty finish. Very tasty and enjoyable, but lacks a bit body.

Nearly black, but with red highlights; amber-brown, creamy head. Stoutlike, roasted/burnt malts with a fruity ’hue’. Flavonoids occur naturally in dark beer, but here one can really smell them. Sweet, dark but sweet malts - bit of liquorice in the finish. Some fruity notes, but difficultly attribuable. Some esters too, it would seem. Very sticky & creamy MF, rather well-bodied. Not bad, like a not-too-German interpretation of a sweet stout.

An opaque brown beer with a disappearing light brown head. The aroma is spicy with notes of soya, dates, and caramel. The flavor is somewhat like a Danish Hvidtøl: licorice and slightly burnt malt. The mouthfeel is smooth while the body is thin just like a Hvidtøl. But I haven’t felt my aging process slow down after drinking this beer - so I beleive it promises too much.
