Een verfrissende tripel welke een lichtzurige tint heeft verkregen door de wijngist uit de Bordeaux Margaux barrels. De toevoeging van rode bieten heeft ertoe geleid dat het bier een aardse toon bevat, waar de toevoeging van de chilipepers voor een lichtpittige afdronk zorgt.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 23.03.2023) im 2022-06 getrunken. Dieses gelb-braune Tripel hat eine sehr kurzweilige, weiße Schaumkrone. In der Nase zeigt sich der Tripel Stil mit seiner Hefe deutlich mit ein Hauch von Frucht. Am Gaumen ist die Frucht dann deutlich als Weintrauben durch das BA erkennbar. Zu der auch hier deutlichen Noten einer Tripel mit seinen Hefe-Charakter kommt dann noch eine deutliche, aber balancierte Chili-Schärfe dazu. Ein sehr interessantes Bier aber sicherlich nicht für jeden Tag.

Rood bruin bier met schuim. Smaak is pittig peperig en licht fruitig zuur met iets van rood fruit en wat rook. Heel apart bier maar wat mij betreft wel geslaagd, zeker als je van pittig eten houdt.

Bottle from Beerdome. Clear dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, vinegar, wood and light chili. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish with a moderate chili burn. Carbonation is high. 310521

hazy orange colour, moderate sized, quickly disappearing off-white head; aroma of beetroot, pickled gherkin, gooseberry, lemony, balsamic acidy-acetone notes, some red wine and chili pepper; taste of malty sweetness, lemony, intensive chili peppery and unripe sour fruity notes; very strange...and definitely not tripel-like...will not be my favourite Emelisse beer for sure...

Bottle. Red color. Beetroot and earthy, soft vinous notes in the aroma. Sweet flavor with chili, vinous notes and beetroot. Burns on the tongue. A mess of flavors, lacking balance.
