Our Hop Wine is a very strong IPA using large quantities of American hops, joyously romping in a robust malty profile, both bitter and fruity at the same time. Best served with pungent cheeses, or simply alone in a glass. As a matter of style, Kinn's Hop Wine inhabits the borderland between American Barley Wine and Triple IPA, so we are all very excited to see how it matures on storage.

Bottled (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity floral, some herbs and mild toffee tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, some toffeeish tones with mild spices and some alcohol sweetness.

Amber colour, small white head. A bit candyish tropical hoppy, dry yeasty aroma. Medium-bodied. Citrus, tropical fruits, dry yeast and alcohol in the flavour. Odd dipa.

33cl bottle. Vasa Norwegian beer tasting 2022. Poured unclear golden in color, thin white head. Sweetish fruity, toffee, ripe fruity aroma. Full bodied with peaches, malts and notes of almonds as well. Well hopped.

Bottle. Slightly unclear dark golden body under a lacing, dense tam head. Distinct aroma of green hops and fresh grass. Taste is surprisingly well balanced old school IPA as the aroma indicates a more one dimensional hop burn kind of beer. Not very complex really, but well made with a balancing malt base, biscuit, light toffee, grassy hops, marmalade and god bitterness. Fine body and bitter aftertaste.

Hazy light brown wiht a small white head - Good fruity hop aroma - Malt body with hints of caramel and a good hop flavour with some fruity tones and a nice bitterness - The hops goes into the finish wiht some nice bitterness - this was good

Little cloudy orange amber beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, sugary impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, malty, grains, caramel, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: good bitterness, dank hops, some orange peel, bit fruity, malty, alcohol, dank, good stuff, lovely barley wine.

375ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pours a huge, rocky, pear white head slowly diminishing over a dark orange coloured body, unclear. Spotty lacing. Dusty hops and earthy malts on the nose. Grainy citrus to the taste character, moments of raisin, ripe orange, and toffee. Rounded finish with a touch of citrus peels and grain, subdued alcohol to it. Well bodied. Pleasing to a certain degree. (Tromsø 05.04.2020).
