Bottle from Spirited Wines, Manchester. Golden-amber, very little head. Has a fine IPA nose and relatively light texture for its strength. It’s a little understated in the taste department but there’s enough to enjoy.

Bottled 500ml @Per
Hazy orange color, small white head. A bit tart grassy aroma. Medium-bodied. Tartish, some fruityness, spices, weird.

Bottled, thanks rlgk(?)! Cloudy dark amber, coarse head. Fruity sweaty nose. Sweet withmedium body and clean rounded mouthfeel. Fruity sweaty hops, bold, clumsy malt. Really bitter finish. Misses the spot.

Cloudy amber beer with a tidy white head. Light dry palate, crisp. Very well integrated smooth pine, mild fresh orange and mellow tropical fruits. Touches of grass and mint. Finishes semi dry. Great balance between the hop flavours. Good complexity from Weird Beard, again!

Bottle from Sourced, drank on the Eurostar to Brussels, 26/09/13. Lightly hazed golden with a moderately sized dirty off white covering that retains well. Nose is bitter orange, light grapefruit, grass, earthy hops, toasted malts, light plastic waft. Taste comprises mineral bite, earthy hops, bitter grapefruit, orange pith, toasty malts, grass, sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish. Ok IPA nothing special though.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt with a hint of drying varnish! The flavour is medium bitter with a dry, spicy pepper, slightly medicinal palate. The first mouthful was a bit of a shock but improved greatly with a little exposure to the air.
