This is the second beer in our DDH Single Hop Series. We love making single hop beers, as they are incredibly fun for the brewers to experiment with: like a chef with one ingredient, finding out all the delicious ways it can be expressed.
But it also is perfect for the drinker to start getting an understanding of the hops, and what they give to each beer, what they might like and not like when it comes to hop varieties.

440 ml can from MBC. Orange, hazy body, with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, resin, apricot jam, tropical fruits, some dankness, some oats, slight honey. Tastes quite similar, with more dankness, mineralic. Medium, quite creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes medium bitter, dank, slightly sweet, mineralic, piney, resinous, a bit oaty, moderate fruity, with some lingering mango notes. Very nice. Typical hazy IPA, while with some more resinous notes. Well balanced between fruity, spicy and sweet notes. Not outstanding maybe, but really quaffable. Score: 7 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 15

14th September 2020, Shrewsbury Beer Share gathering with Syrian Supper in Chez Sophie, five in attendance. Cheers Simon for this 440ml can, he always (almost anyway) brings something from these guys! Mosaic hops doing their thing, cloudy dull yellow body, wispy white head, citric feel from the hops, nose and flavour wise.
