Nice stuff but maybe not the freshest. Some kind of spice or maple syrup thing there but maybe that’s my imagination. Bit of green apple and a touch of hoppy zing.

deep golden color. Frothy white head. Very clean palate, nice crackery malt character, good bitterness with grassy notes. Clean well balanced. Nice stuff

Baeren Victoria - Morioka 35th Anniversary Baeren Special Classic Dortmund et Lager with 100% Canadian Malts and some Japanese hops 6% Nice deep gold with a thick off-white rocky dollop of foam that lasts fairly long and a really nice honeyed sweet malt and mild herbal malt character in the aroma. The taste has a sweet tangy element and the medium body displays the fairly crisp finish. Not as amazing as others from them but crushable for sure. Bottled 9/11/2020

Bottle, mail order from the brewery. Rich biscuity malt, a bit of diacetyl, toasted bread, lightly nutty, some caramel. Light to medium amber orange, darker than usual, with a bit of haze. Sweet and malty with a candy-like character, fruity, creamy, light diacetyl and caramel. Diacetyl isn't too bad, but it usually is absent in their beers. Not bad, but a bit weird. A bit of cardboard too. Hops are very light, just a bit of herbal spice at the end.
