A big American Barleywine is something to behold and a style every respecting brewer seeks to perfect. We are bringing sexy back to a traditional English style with the addition of pecans and american oak. Expect a mahogany beer with a big body, buttery texture and caramelized pecan finish.

Åhh, dette var et nydelig og karakterfullt øl med ypperlig balanse og stor tydelighet mellom enkelt smakene, som var alkoholisk, sødme, pekannøtter og bourbon-fat.

The pecans don't blend well with the barleywine, raisins and pecans and malty and sweet booze, headaches yo. Nose is nice, but dat finish is rough.

16 oz can from Boise Co-op. Dark amber, clear, small foamy head. Sweet, nutty aroma. Malty taste, dominated by the pecans. Sweet enough to recall pecan pie filling. A bit of a boozy kick. Very well rounded.
