Can from Beerdome. Hazy amber pour with a white head. Rich aromas of banana toffee, toffee apple, caramel, orchard fruit, red berries. Cockle warming flavours of cherry boiled sweets, toffee apple, strawberry jam, banana toffee. Gullet caressing alcohol burn. Sweet warming finish.

Can. A hazy amber beer with a small off white head. Aroma of dried fruits, toffee, ripe fruits. Taste of strong caramelized malt, nuts, dried fruits, hints of banana. Boozy finish.

Can from Glasbanken. Hazy amber with a small white head. Sweet with warming alcohol, dried fruit, toffee and some banana. Decent but a bit young.

Bottle shared by a friend. Cloudy amber with white head. Loads of strawberries, red apple skin, raw wheat, minty hops. Touch of caramel at the end. Just weird and quite bad.

Cloudy deep amber to red brown beer, creamy beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty malty, some green banana, grains, yeast, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of (ersatz) chocolate, caramel, sweet touch, soft bitterness, slightly roasted, banana peel. Aftertaste: malty, caramel, bit sugary, more ripe banana, some more ersatz chocolate, bitter touch, grains, more a quad than a barley wine really, a bit too much banana and too yeasty to my liking.

ABV: 12.0%. Clear medium to dark amber colour with a small average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, pale malt, sweet malt, rich, malty, some kind of berries - dried fruit that start sweet but ends sourish, maybe some ripe fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, caramel, sweet malt, malty, toffee, rich, again some kind of berries - dried fruit that start sweet and ends sourish ! Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily - smooth and dry, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200815]
