A la fois puissante et douce grâce aux baies de genévrier, cette ale double s'accomode parfaitement avec des plats normands de caractère, les fromages et viandes de notre région plus particulièrement.

1/3/2025. Bottle courtesy of Jerseyislandbeer, cheers! Pours clear copper gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is fruity, peaches, banana, yeast, light spice, dried fruits, candy cane. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, smooth/oily, average carbonation. Quite liked this.

Little cloudy orange beer, big creamy solid bit irregular off-white head, stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very yeasty, ripe banana, sweet and sugary impression, floral, malty, bit spicy. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, malty, ripe banana, soft bitterness, floral, very yeasty. Aftertaste: spicy, lots of juniper berries, ripe banana, yeasty, bitter touch.
Paired with Korean fried squid and kimchi rice, worked well!
