500ml bottle. Clear, auburn colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Weak, minimally bready and sugary, dark and caramel malty aroma, hints of pumpernickel. Taste is slightly roasty, dark malty and slightly metallic, bitter hoppy, diluted hints of pumpernickel, treacle, rock sugar.
Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Simple, monotonous - boring.

Greizer Schwarze Perle, Fläschchen aus der Getränkequelle, Quedlinburg. - Dunkles Rotbraun, klar. Keiner Beachtung wert. (12.6.2022.)

Buddel, danke Günther! Ruby-chestnut, lowish white cream. Light berry-fruity, light papery roast nose. Medium light overatenuated body, light carbonation. Restrained dark malt flavors, light fruitiness, light herbal grassy hop finish. Could be more pearling.

Bottle: Deep ruby-amber coloured, clear, medium-sized and slowly collapsing off-white head, mild to moderate sweetish-bitter aroma of toasted and roasted malt, presumably a faint fruitiness underneath; mild to moderate - as well - bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; slightly lingering dryish bitter-malty finish. No glory, but quite well drinkable...
