Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours brassy gold with a nice white head. Tmavy malt aroma with some grass/spice notes. Almost med body. Flavor is roasty malt with a bit of grass/spice. Tastier than many of the style. Nice.

Deep golden color. Big carbonation, quickly dissipating head. Looks like lager I might have drank in the 90s. Poured into a nice dimple mug to boot. Sweet malt forward with hay, honey and some apricot notes. Somewhat yeast forward. Nice clean mouth, low medium bitterness. buscuity malt. Easy drinking. Medium full body with dry finish. Not my favorite style by any means, but this is just an easy drinking pleasant lager that could appeal to the masses. If you are in the mood for a pint of lager, reach for Das Fest. Couldnt imagine just having a sample of this.

Probably the only Oktoberfest beer I’m gonna get this year... Revision Das Fest 5.5% 18 IBU I was expecting something darker and malt IER but this golden brew has a grainy tangy aroma. It’s medium to light bodied and crisp and clean. Solid.

Draft at the Taphouse. Medium golden , almost clear, small creamy, bubbly head. Rich malty, bready aroma. Taste is more of the same. Tiny crisp bite at the finish, wonderfully full and creamy.
