Sur base de la même recette que la triple BSL023 NOEL, celle-ci a séjourné pendant un an dans des tonneaux de chêne ayant contenu du vin rouge Margaux « Chateau du Tertre ».

Retrouvant la puissance de la triple à 9%, on y retrouve les notes boisées du tonneau et le léger fruité acide du raisin.

Aged sample Despite its age, seriously gushing to small, if persistent, just off-white head over clear reddish-foxy beer. Solvent, woodstripper, varnish. Sweet cherrysyrup. Oxydation (of course), estery. Sweet wine, oxydation +/- in check. Again sweet red fruit and just a touch of solvent. Drier finish. Bit still, dull-ish; lightly sticky, maybe medium bodied. OK, it's aged. But a 9% ABV beer lagered on wine barrels ought to resist better. Txs to Stef!
