Bottle, Morissons. Clear amber colour, white head. Aroma and nose of caramel malts, biscuit. A bit earthy. Dry finish. Mediocre.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Grassy and slightly metallic hoppy nose with a light malty background. Faint bitter flavour, slim bodied with a moderate to crispy carbonation. Flat malty base with shades of licorice, shy fruity accents and grassy hops, especially towards the dry, slim and short finish. Rather disappointing (19.II.09).

50cl Bottle, bb October 08, from De Bierkoning. Slightly hazy golden amber colour, white head. Aroma of floral hops, a little caramel. Flavour is caramel, hops, soft and a little fruity. Light dry bitter finish. Watery, but OK.

500ml green bottle from a Wine Rack store in Edinburgh. Fluffy, beige head on top of a mahogany body. Shortage of smell and taste. Some pale malts with leafy hops. Soapy in the mouth [12.11.2008].

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy bronze colour. Fruity raspberry aroma with some hay and caramel. Sweet and light and medium bodied with dense mouthfeel. Salty with plenty of jelly. Mid-intensity floral bitterness.

Bottled (thanks tbone_!). Copperish golden colour, mediumsized white creamy head, lacing. Aroma while pouring was very much cooked vegetables. When settled in the beerglass itโ€™s woody, honeyish, sweet fruity with some notes of cooked vegetables underneath. Flavour is sweet malts with spices and hops coming in. Quite watery and empty.

Bottled (BB 03/2008)
Pale copper brown, decent white head. Woody, grassy, slightly metallic aroma, even someway skunky. Hard mouthfeel, moderate malty, late aromatic hoppy bitterness. Sweet malts are present in the middle and hops ride to the scene later when palate is evolving. Empty and bland, but tolerable, thanks for decent hoppy aftertaste.

From the bottle, a bright amber colour with a robust head. Hoppy aroma, rather too carbonated.

Cask at Hobgoblin Bicester 17-01-06. Only beer on in this Hobgoblin pub which was a tad dissapointing. Found it a little sweet, reasonable clean head, quite bitter and hoppy lingering on. A good pint but nothing earth shattering.
