As the nights draw in and the air becomes cool and crisp, and foliage explodes in beautiful bursts of red, yellow and brown, we offer up this humble Amber Ale.
Combining a smooth body, sweet malt profile and fragrant hop flavours, this beer is finely balanced, lightly roasted, and wonderfully flavoursome!

Again a harsh funky aroma, but a clean very mild neutral beer. Nothing special. Piel Helsinki

Cask at Unit 9, 03/10/19. Reddish amber with a decent faded beige cap. Nose is biscuit malt, toffee, stewed fruits, red berry skins, grass. Taste comprises caramel, orange peel, light brown sugars, fruit esters, hint of brown bread, berry notes, biscuit wafer. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with mellow hop bitterness. Decent for the style.

Can. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Clear, reddy amber. Messy froth of light beige head. Nose has caramel malt. Some berry fruit. Taste is fairly sweet, with an earthy, nutty bitterness. Light body. Frothy carbonation. Light bitter finish. Drinks like a standard bitter, for me.
