A unique sour beer based on the traditional Peruvian soft drink Chicha Morada. This fruity beer is brewed with Maize Morada (Peruvian Purple Corn) and soured naturally before going through a traditional fermentation process. The end product is an unusual and delicious beer that highlights the incredible flavours that can come from exotic ingredients.

440ml can @ Free-Dumb tasting, Chez Sophie, July 21. Intriguing spicy chai-like vanillery aroma that I assume is down to the chicha. Nicely sour, with some good fruity berry notes. Genuinely different and works well. Alongside the cracking alcohol free beers I've had from Hammerton i've been pretty impressed with this brewery.

19th July 2021; Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie, five of us splitting 16 different beers, t'was a good night! 440ml can of this, taken by me: BB Feb 2022. Red bodied, pinkish head. Strong vanilla like aroma, initial taste also favoured vanilla before a semi-sourness kicked in. Interesting and different.
