Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 13/06/2026.
Unclear mahogany brown topped with a beige cap formed of soft bubbles that veer to the edge.
Nose is stewed fruits, ladies knickers, herb, toffee, vinous tones.
Taste comprises stewed fruits, big bunch of herbs, light medicinal notes, almost chalky light minerality.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
So so ... a touch on the knackered side this one ... I've had a good run with Kennys R-Box to be fair.

At the January 2026 DC Brewver gathering. Pretty small bottle, pretty sure it isn't 330ml, but maybe it was. Poured a dark cola color, wispy head. Pretty good for what an ~18-year-old beer. Definitely a little cardboard, dusty aged malts on the nose. Feels a bit like we're drinking a bit of history. Overall, not too bad. It's aged pretty well, just a tad on the sweet-side. Giving this a higher score than normal given it's age.

Bottle. Orange brown color, cloudy. Grapefruit, red berries and marmalade in the malty but also firm hoparoma. Full bodied, malty sweet with mandarine curacao, marmalade, red berries, grapefruit and oily grassy hops. Alcoholic, but a very fruity and tasty brew.

Bottle with an expiry date of Sept 2010, thanks to Camons. Pours murky dark brown with small frothy beige head, alcohol-molasses aroma, low carbonation, initially sweet woodsy rum taste with roasted malt turns medium bitter fast, some yeasty flavor, thin body, long boozy finish. It might have gone bad, but it was still drinkable.

Bottle at the May De Molen monthly tasting. Poured a hazy chestnut brown with a thin white head. The aroma is rather odd and smells a little like boiling cabbage! The flavour is strong bitter with liquorice and resin. The bitterness hits the palate quickly and becomes a little unpleasant in the finish.
