great brown pour, almost black actually. aroma is bit on roasted malt, and next to no hops, with a touch of ripe fruit. flavour is again very very roasty, i guess im used to the american brown ales that are big time front loaded with hops. This brown ale is excellent, but there are hardly any hops, and to be honest seems more like a porter to me. Big roasty notes, and some chocolate, and coffee in the finish with a nice bitterness.

330 ml bottle from Stranda Ski Resort in Stranda, Norway. Pours a dark brown color with a khaki head and good retention. Nutty aroma. Nice nutty flavor. Clean and smooth. Slightly sweet dark malts. Not bitter. Medium body. Light carbonation. Very good.

Keg at Brewdog Camden. Brown coloured with beige creamy head. Aroma is grainy and roasty. Bit of brown bread and light spice. Taste is a bit of ginger, bready malts, bit of cream and some oats. Quite smooth but with a spicy prickle. Very easy to drink! Very nice.
