16 oz. can bought to-go from Trail's End. Pours black, with a small, khaki head. The aroma is vanilla, mild coffee, caramel, sherry, and pecans. Fairly dry and malty, with a mild bitterness. Balanced and tasty.

Can - I tried this beer last night and got too pissed off at it to rate it at the time - it looks and tastes like flat cola - for real - it’s all I kept thinking while drinking it - I’m also fairly certain it’s much lower in abv than the label states - poured it down the drain halfway through.
Black pour. Vanilla coffee nose. Thin beige foam. Vanilla, chocolate, coffee flavor.

Pounder: Charred oak nose, subtle mulberry and marshmallow accents. Black, thin head. Charred oak, raisin, cocoa, cola. Full body, easy carbonation.

Can pour in a trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Appearance is opaque black with no sparkle, finger-width crackling light brown foamy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, lactose and earth. Taste follows aroma with lactose a bit higher in the mix. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with silky smooth texture, pillow soft carbonation and mild finish as taste. Overall, alcohol is hidden extremely well. As smooth as you could ask for from the lactose and oats but not thick. Neither aroma nor flavor are terribly bold. OK.

Not bad for an imperial milk stout, not overly sweet but with a persistent lactose sugariness underlining the rest of the brew. Subtle milk chocolate notes are hinted with vanilla and banana, backed up by brown sugar, weak coffee, roast, and a mild caramel undercurrent. Finishes with a lactose flourish and a lingering espresso bite. A little more body and less lactose and you'd have a much more interesting pint.
Mr. G pity's the fool not drinking this beer.
