355ml can into schooner. At New England motor Lodge, Glen Innes. Pours red/copper with a large foamy white head. High fine carbonation. Nose of tropical fruit and smoky caramel malt. Good lacing. Medium body, smooth texture. Slight zing on the swallow. Finish is more malt but is a bit thin. Not bad, easy drinking ale.

Can, Aldi. Amber with an inch of white head that lasts OK. 3+ Aroma of caramel, some grapefruit. A bit thin and quite fizzy. 3- Sweet with lots of caramel but not a lot of presence from the malt. Meek hop aromatics - just a little citrus - but a pleasantly bitter finish. OK.

My overwhelming reaction is lots of sweet malt. There are aromas of honey, malt and something I'm going to call celery. There are flavors of malt, caramel and pine needles. Not loving it.
