Super deep dark brown coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall rich brown head that fades about on average and leaves a thinnish lace on top, about a centimetre after a few minutes of a lighter brown head - pretty nice. Aroma of rich roasted malts, oatmeal, earth, molasses, brown sugars and a dash of coffee - fairly mild on that front with a bit more chocolate and earthiness, too. Full-bodied; Rich roasted malts, oatmeal, grain, molasses, toffee, caramel and some lighter pitted fruits come through with some vanilla, chocolate and some ground coffee notes are here at the end, but fairly muted considering the others in the style. Aftertaste shows some vanilla and grain, pitted fruits and a good deal of nuttiness along with additional sugars in the way of molasses and caramel, but pretty subdued, sweet, but not bitter or pungent at the end. Overall, a pretty nice Imperial Stout with a good balance and a fairly sweet, but not cloying beer with a ton of chocolate and caramel notes but not much of the coffee, actually. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, given to me by a teammate on my hockey team - Thanks Erik - on 13-January-2021, sampled just over a year later at my house here in Washington on 28-January-2022 on what might be the last 'snow' of the year, canned on 14-February-2020 with the tagline 'Too Many Pots'.
