330mL can, pours a clear piss yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out straw, corn, herbal notes and light vegetables. Flavour is along the same lines, with straw, cereal notes, and a herbal and vegetal character. Standard macro lager. Just barely drinkable.

Bitterer, ansonsten wässriger Antrunk. Metallerne Noten dominieren den Mittelteil, wenig herb, plörrig. Kurzer Nachhall. Bäh. 8/6/6/5/7/5

330ml can bought in Vietnam and then transported half-way round the globe. Production date is 31/08/2015. Can proudly states "UNIQUE KNOW-HOW / TRADITION OF HUNDRED YEARS" so it has to be good, right? Pours pale yellow with a white head that fizzes away in seconds. Aroma is rice, sugar, malt, and corn. Taste is grain and malt.

Can from a Hanoi convenience store. Poured a pale yellow colour with a frothy white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is light malt, cardboard, some hops. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light citrus, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. It’s not too bad. Better than many other Viet beers I’ve had. A little gassy up front but it soon died away.

Can on my flight to Hanoi taken for the tick. It pours a clear gold with a thick 1cm of foam that leaves good lacing. An earthy green hop aroma on a sugary grainy body. The taste is also very sugary with a bready graininess and minimal hoppiness. Not that terrible.

Can. Clean and clear golden beer with minimal head. Smells quite familiar to many light lagers from around the world. Watery, light body, drinkably, malty.

At a tasting, thanks Alexei, small creamy head, lightish yellow color, aroma of cooked corn and aroma with some paper, flavour of paper, stale bread, strange sweetness and bitterness. Really bad.

Can shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 30.07.14. Very pale, clear straw colour. Dense white head. Aroma of 7-UP, grass and washing up liquid. Taste of lemonade. Too carbonated. Slightly unfresh aftertaste. Waterish.
