Cask at the Argyll Arms, London. Pours clear gold with a white foam head. Pleasant, fresh and slightly weak aroma of grass and lemony citrus. Flavor is sweet up front, hints of tangy citrus, some white sugar and straw. Medium bodied, creamy, with fine carbonation. Sweet, subtly sticky finish, nips of zesty citrus hops, bit more plain sugar, and some lingering grassy bitterness that seems to arrive from out of nowhere. Decent beer overall.

Cask @ Snow Goose, Inverness
Appearance - Straw colour, hazy, thin dense white head
Aroma - Citrus hops, tropical fruit, mango, peach, bit of straw
Taste - Grapefruity hops, sweet malt, tropical fruits. Bit bland for an ’American IPA’, but pleasent taste.
Palate - Citrus acidity to lingering bitter finish with a hint of cereal
Overall - OK IPA. Quite pleasent, but taste got duller with the drinking. It’s really a golden ale, not hoppy enough to be a USA IPA. It’s not ’very hoppy’ as the pump clip states. I was a bit disappointed with this one, expecting something with more zazz after reading the description. Easy drinking, though.

Cask, haft pint found in excellent condition at Southwark Tavern. One big patch on the surface. Clear amber coloured body. Good hop fruity tang to the nose. Flavour is a just a nice potpourri of fresh fruity hops. Smooth hop-bitter ending. Oily palate. Enjoyable and very refreshing (London, 30.07.2011).

Cask@The Chequers, Oxford. Golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral and some mild grassyness as well. Flavour is floral and fruity hops along with mildly grassy bitterness lurking. Also the maltyness comes in giving the beer a nice balance and body. Longlasting floral bitterness in the finish.
