On tap at Olde Peninsula. Opaque dark brown body, thin tan head. Light roasty body, somewhat sweet, with chocolate and brown sugar. Delicate yet rich and quaffable.

Deep and black, small tan head, little lacing. Faint aroma of barley roast and some sweeter scents as well. Medium to light body. After spending all night drinking eccentric ale, batch 6000 and harvest ale at Bell's it's tough for anything to compare, but this wasnt bad. Good representation of the style. Some thick, chewy roast and alcohol on the finish.

Draft. Truly a “black patent malt” stout. Taste is full of French roast coffee and Special Dark chocolate. There are hops here, but they only say “hi” after you swish it around with your tongue. Strong taste that cuts through a mouthful of salty chips.
