Dark brown with small offwhite head. Massive bourbon, sweet and soft, base beer disappears into the background completely. Some toasted malts. Very bourbony, which is tasty, but as a beer it’s not really great.

Bottle shared rhanks to sjogro. Slight hazy mahogany with big beige head. Massive bourbon barrel, watery caramel, boozy, soft watery berry juice, flowery, mint, brown bread. Over medium sweet, boozy bitter. Over medium bodied with boozy finish and a bit watery feel. Too boozy and estery for me.

Bottle.,dark brown color. Soft roast, caramel and vanilla in the aroma. Malty, caramelly sweet flavor with soft roast, vanilla and a hint of bourbon, roasty, slightly herbal finish.

0.33 l bottle from 'Drinks & Gifts', best before September 2022. Slightly hazy, deep ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, nuts, chocolate and hints of vanilla. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter taste of caramel, chocolate, nuts, hints of vanilla and traces of bourbon, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little yeasty and minimally woody finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pleasant enough but the barrel is too subtle for my liking.
