Pours darker blonde, fairly unclear. Big, stable white head. Scent is yeasty, BE style. Mild earthy hops. Taste is full, fairly bitter, earthy hops. Relatively creamy. BE yeast. Mild banana. Something sharp I can't put my finger on, going towards metallic, and realy bothering me. Decent nevertheless, but leave out the latter, and it'd be a much better beer to me.

21/XI/20 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ home, BB: X/2022 (2020-1067)

Clear orange beer, thick smooth velvety off-white head, stable, adhesive, lots of lacing. Aroma: malty, Belgian yeasty, spicy, hint of banana, pretty subtle though, spicy, bit peppery, some citrus notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, pretty malty body, herbal hops, bitter, dry, some banana peel, slightly metallic. Aftertaste: nice bitterness, spicy, bit herbal, some citrus, banana touch, very malty, nice one! Old school, but very solid!

Huge, bit fluffy off-white head; bit amberish orangey, veiled beer. Very first impression is as from old wine. Bit of acetic acid, followed by caramel, and whiffs of aromatic fruity hops, grains & cornflakes. Bitter-ish, with again - if actually quite nice - acetic whiffs. Excellent balance acidity vs caramel sweet, and the hops surrounding. Retronasal something earthy, as moss; whilst the finish is more bitter, enhanced by that retronasal aroma. Tittilating MF, dry and even slightly wry. Not very well-bodied. Surprising beer, but quite original. Certainly not a re-editied, fortified Oeral, which I was expecting.

Hazy blond colour, lively carbonation. Yeasty, bitter hoppy, some citrussy notes, orange peel, rather bitter finish. Different than the oter Dolle beers, not bad, not great either.
