Frigg was the Queen of Asgard and the highest of all the goddesses. She was also mother to Balder. Our red IPA is brewed using heirloom Balder malt from Warbro Kvarn. This beer has a more malty and caramel character than your regular IPA. Dry hopped to give you lots of citrus and grapefruit aroma and flavours.

Pairs great with roasted and grilled food, spicy cuisine and strong tasting cheese.

(Draught, taster, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 7 Oct 2021) Dark amber colour with lasting, tan head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of toast, apricots and marmalade. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, treacle-toffee, toast, apricots, marmalade and a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well made, English style. Nice one.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy copper colour, mid sized head. Aroma of pears and black currant. Mid dry with light to medium body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Bready malt with black currant and citrus atop. Mid bitter finish. Nice!
