Black with a beige head. Aroma of bourbon, oak, vanilla, caramel, tart overripe dark fruits. Flavour is heavy sweet and light moderate sour with quite some saltiness. Full bodied with soft carbonation. It’s basically like a blend of a dark barley wine and a Flemish brown with a load of salt thrown in.

33 cl. bottle shared with Dennis @ Dennis and Patries. Pours a dark ruby with a very thin off-white head. Red wine, vanilla bourbon and sour notes. Sour taste with some saltiness as well conflicting with the sweet bourbon. Truly great beer, every sip is an adventure
